Canoeing - kayaking or canoeing
The Allgäu is well-known for varied experiences with rivers, lakes and, of course, its high mountains. Super conditions, and right from the front door. Enjoy an exciting time from the perspective of a canoe or a kayak.
Under the guidance of professional teachers basic knowledge is taught and for the already advanced paddler insider tips for the movement in the wet element mediated. First on the lake (Alpsee, Inselsee) later on the rivers Iller, Breitach or Ostrach.
The "Wildwasserschule Oberstdorf": http: //www.wildwasserschule.com/WWSO/ conveys all basic techniques of paddling in the kayak and canadier to the curriculum. You can choose from the day trip in the kayak sit on top, the canadier or kayak, or the basic and advanced courses in the kayak and canadier.

Our tips for you ...
- Hiking through the Breitachklamm *: The rocky walls of the Breitachklamm fall into the depths of the Breitachklamm, almost a hundred meters through which water masses have paved their way for a thousand years. On well-built and secured paths you can admire beautiful rock formations, deep, dark rubbles and unique light reflections. The circular hike from the Alpe Dornach takes about 1 1/2 hours and offers adventure for young and old.

- Rundwanderweg um Engenkopf *: The Engenkopf offers besides a rich vegetation, like rare Enziansorten, also Karstdolinen and two Karsthöhlen and also a grandiose view in the Austrian Kleinwalsertal. The circular route from our alp is about 1 1/2 hours on well developed tarmac roads.
- Direction Kleinwalstal via Hörnlepass *: The hiking trail to the "Hörele", as the Walsertaler call the Hörnlepass, is a comfortable and much-loved walk.
- From Oberstdorf to Alpe Dornach *: From the Oberstdorfer station it goes over the small village Kornau in approximately one hour walking time to the Alpe Dornach.
- Sommerrodeln at the Söllereckbahn *: direction Kleinwalsertal, in about 15 minutes by car to reach.
- Sommerrodeln at the Alpsee Coaster *: You drive past the Alpsee in the direction of Oberstaufen, from the Alpe Dornach in about 30 minutes by car to reach.
- Baden am Freiblsee *: Because of its charming location and excellent water quality, the Freiburgsee has long since become a popular bathing resort in Oberstdorf. From the parking lot Renksteg you can reach it in about 30 minutes walking time.
Attention: Our guests will be provided with a parking card for Oberstdorf, in which also this parking lot falls!
- Baden am Moorweiher *: The romantic little pond, a quarter of an hour's walk above Oberstdorf, invites you to bathe, walk and dream. Here, too, you can park with our parking card free of charge at the Oybelehalle!
- Moutainbike - Tours *:
- Round over Hörnlepass direction Riezlern over Fuchsloch back to Alpe Dornach. (About 2 hours)
- Round over Söllereckbahn, Freibergsee, Hochleite, direction Höhenweg, Riezlern via Hörnlepass back. (Duration: about 3 ½ hours)
- Climbing at the Tiefenbachfelsen *: From Oberstdorf direction Kleinwalsteral, after the round about five hundred meters on the left is the Tiefenbachfelsen, on whose back is a well developed climbing garden. Climbing routes from 4th to 7th difficulty offer fun for beginners and tried and tested climbing machines.
- Paragliding *: Enjoy the view from high above with the school Rohrmeier on the surrounding mountains and slopes.
